Well, alot of the newer Christmas specials don’t have the same kind of magic that the older classics had. This is a unbelievable exception. Its charming and sentimental, and rotund of magic. With a down home “country” feel, this special shows that christmas is about like and giving. When Annabelle is born on Christmas Eve, Santa comes and gives all the barn animals a special gift, they can talk on Christmas Day! Annabelle decides that if she is really noble all year long, maybe Santa will grant her a special wish so she can glide with his reindeer! But when Billy needs her, does that mean she won’t score her chance? There’s a star-studded cast of speak, and the DVD contains lots of mountainous extras (including a deleted song, a humorous one which the kids might indulge in!) This movie is a total tear-jerker and spacious for adults and children too. Definately invent this a special you study!

The sage starts off on Christmas Eve where the sage began. Santa Claus gives the animals of the barn voices for twenty four hours. Annabelle arrives this first night as shown on the video. Santa leaves a ticket for Billy that the calf is his Christmas indicate.

Billy has been unable to talk since the fire in the barn that left him in the care of his grandfather. His Aunt is the sister to his father, from what I can squawk. It is savor at first peek for Annabelle and Billy and off they go to play in the snow. Agnes brings Charles, the grandfather imported bon bon’s from Paris for his expose. Agnes and Charles go into the barn to notice what Billy got from Santa Claus.

The funniest fragment of the movie is when Agnes steps in “kaka” and the intention she says it is hysterical. They fade benefit to the house and Billy is left alone in the barn. Well this is the first time Billy has wanted to pause in the barn since the tragic fire. His Aunt Agnes prefers to call him William and the clothes she wears are shiny orange and go with her hair.

Annabelle makes the mistake of talking in front of Billy and the animals settle it is okay for only Billy to know about the secret that comes once a year from Santa Claus. Annabelle decides she wants to be a reindeer and be with Santa Claus. She tells Billy her dream.

There is a song by Randy Travis about changing seasons and making friends. Tears near to my eyes everytime I view the scenes with the song that reveal Billy, Annabelle and Emily, while Randy sings about seasons approach and seasons go.

There are many lessons in this pleasing movie. The two neighbor boys apologize for making up stories. Gus meets Agnes and they seem made for each other. Grandpa gets his music box abet, the animals come by their yearly treat.

The animation and music are such added bonuses as well as the voices that I do not procure to hear on sitcoms anymore. The most critical thing to remember is to withhold this movie in an active collection and not to be utilized only for the holiday season.
Wedding Album Design
Electronic Smokeless Cigarette
Hostgator Coupons
Wholesale Authentic Designer Handbags
Gamefly Trial

Last year, I began coaching my daughter’s U-8 team. The girls knew nothing about the glories of the USWNT. I told them about Mia Hamm and got them to read a brief bio on her, but this HBO documentary was the best teaching tool ever.

It is a expansive myth that uses the retirement game for Hamm, Fawcett and Foudy to lok encourage at the history of the WNT from the first WC in 1991 through the 2004 Olympics.

This movie can’t benefit but increase the self admire of any young girl unbiased starting the sport to look how edifying the Americans can be at soccer. Because the Men’s World Cup gets more publicity, my girls all conception that Americans impartial weren’t very suitable at soccer and that it was dominated by a half dozen European and So. American countries. This video points out that historically the US WNT is the best. It really got my daughter involved in the fresh WNT and we even went to search for a game in San Jose last month.

The release is being timed to near fair after the beginning of this year’s Women’s World Cup in China. (The first game for the US team, who are #1 ranked again, is Sept. 11th.

HBO is also selling it directly through their website, but for $5 more.

I originally saw this documentary on HBO over a year ago. After watching it, I knew I had to gain it on DVD for my daughter for Christmas this year. A truly inspirational tale for anyone, but especially for young women, this epic of the USA Women’s Soccer Team shows their rise from obscurity to glory. My daughter was so captivated by the emotional and educational aspects of the Team’s struggle to do validation, notoriety and greatness in the historically male centric American sports scene, that she has already planned to have her entire soccer team over to our house for a group viewing to inspire them for the upcoming season.
Gamefly Free Trial
Wholesale Designer Handbags
How To Increase Credit Score
Raise Credit Score

Operation Sea Lion: In the wake of the British army’s flight from France, the British were all but beaten. But a Nazi invasion of England was inexplicably postponed, diverting distinct triumph and ultimately leading to the Allied victory.

In addition to these four episodes, two additional episodes of Big Blunders of World War II are included: The Bomb Situation to Destroy Hitler and The Scattering of Convoy PQ17.

I was blissful to scrutinize a unusual “supersized” history of WWII box site arrive to DVD, and being a superfan of this subject bought it. I wasn’t expecting a lot of original footage but I belief perhaps a original perspective would be refreshing.

I’m stupefied disappointed is an understatement in describing how I felt while watching it… “War Chronicles” (Mort Zimmerman) was never my approved of the WWII documentaries, and this box situation is built entirely on these ragged reels.

Patrick O’Neal’s content drones on like the engines of a tired faded bomber on a long bustle to the heart of Germany. You hear itsy-bitsy else but his narration over the canned sound effects through the entire series.

I was particularly amazed at the lack of footage devoted to England and the Battle of Britain. Literally a couple of minutes!

A far better choice would be the “BBC History of World War II”, The “Definitive History of WWII” (Brentwood), “Visions of War” (Southern Star/IMAVision), or “The World at War” box sets.

If you level-headed wish to have this box area, there will be plenty of very slightly mature copies available very cheap, very soon!

As a general rule, I don’t read reviews of anything or pay any attention to critics (even internet-nobody critics like myself) . To paraphrase the titanic Henry Rollins, the tremendous majority of ‘em are not worth the food they’re fed. I must confess, however, that had it not been for a couple of movie critics on TV (names obviously withheld) that I happened to net in passing, I would never have found out about either Paper Heart or the curious and unbelievable world of Charlyne Yi, Paper Heart’s star/co-creator/co-writer. So for that, I thank those critics in quiz. And that’s where my spend for ‘em ends.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Paper Heart! Click Here

Most of the criticism levelled at Paper Heart that I’m aware of has to do with it not being a “factual” documentary (though Charlyne and director/co-creator/co-writer Nicholas Jasenovec themselves have CLEARLY stated in many interviews that it is, in fact, a “hybrid documentary” that, according to the official Paper Heart website, “combines elements of documentary and outmoded storytelling, reality and fantasy to bring a novel perspective to the unusual romance and redefines the classic treasure sage”) and the relationship between Charlyne Yi and co-star Michael Cera not actually being exact (please refer to my parenthesesed remarks immediately preceding these parenthesesed remarks) . I’m not exactly certain what all of these critics are not notion but it’s heavenly apparent that as usual, they impartial don’t earn it.

I personally fill that Paper Heart beautifully succeeds as the hybrid documentary that it is and totally fits the definition of it above. Charlyne Yi is an extremely gripping young newcomer with a smile that can light up a room and truckloads of charm to boot. I eye forward to seeing Great more of her in the future. Michael Cera is Michael Cera and there’s certainly nothing nefarious with that, as the success of both Superbad and Juno have clearly proven. Jake Johnson deserves special mention for his dry and understated performance as the director, Nicholas Jasenovec (natch) . I also eagerly await his upcoming work. Also worth mentioning are the adorable dinky vignettes interspersed throughout the film where staunch people talk about their experiences being in care for and their stories are told via charming as hell two-dimensional puppets created by, you guessed it, the charming as hell Charlyne Yi. The soundtrack, mild primarily by Michael Cera and Charlyne Yi (with back from many other talented and gifted songwriters/musicians), is the icing on the cake and provides a terrific listening experience on it’s occupy.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Paper Heart! Click Here

Paper Heart is a very witty and engrossing film. I highly recommend it.

Perhaps as whimsical and spontaneous as the very nature of just appreciate, Paper Heart examines the varying degrees and definitions of that magical feeling with runt finite direction, but the quirky characters and creative presentation balance out a wandering residence. Halfway through, the documentary come gives diagram to the fairytale romance it residence out to disprove, somewhat negating the efficacy of documenting reality, though the seamless blending with tale storytelling does provide a uniquely bright result. Only upon outside investigation will the justify façade peel away; but almost certainly research will be done by those finding themselves drawn to the lives portrayed onscreen. While the film may not narrate you what admire really is, it might angle your pre-existing notions about the subject towards something more promisingly optimistic.

A somewhat pseudo-documentary romantic comedy, Paper Heart follows Reduce (Jake M. Johnson) and Charlyne (Charlyne Yi) on a cross-country stagger to document what exactly “adore” is. Interviewing ministers, happily married couples, chemists, romance novelists, divorce lawyers, a group of children and more, the obvious young girl attempts to get definition and perhaps even experience the mysterious emotion. But as they recede across the United States and even venture to “The City of Worship” her pessimistic denial may hinder her chances at finding loyal happiness.

Love can be defined in countless methods, as well as be interpreted in an endless amount of ways. But we already knew that. Paper Heart doesn’t educate audiences on the many hypotheses, nor does it interpret the answers. It merely makes a social commentary on the subject. Movies and fairy tales have a lot to do with skewing perceptions on admire and it seems that people are generally a bit skeptical. But whether it’s a chemical reaction, a drug-induced area or a mystical phenomenon, the film only serves as an experiment in treasure - under the constant bombardment of cameras. The nonexistence of privacy is such a distracting factor that precise admire never has a chance at developing normally.

Paper Heart proves that Michael Cera is the same in staunch life as he portrays characters in film. It also proves that anyone can perform a movie provided someone eminent or well-connected is keen. Regardless of how great is staged, giving it a half-documentary feel, the stories by proper people point to to be the most intelligent. Yi and Cera’s chemistry is like something out of a movie, and considering the involvement of the filming crew, it’s never really more than that. Perhaps most modern is the improvised documentary arrive, convincing us that the editing and presentation is based almost entirely on how an undetermined romance plays out. The editing with stylized paper dolls is similarly droll, but in the waste, Yi’s beliefs don’t really change. It’s not about her inability to worship, but rather her unwillingness to clarify it.

It is terrific that this extraordinary film is now available on DVD. This is a keen chronicle of international espionage circa 1940-44. Based upon a lawful myth, William Holden turns in his archaic stellar performance as a Swedish petroleum industrialist (of American deriviation–he had renounced his American citizenship, married in Sweden and become a Swedish subject) who is initially blackmailed by Allied intelligence to explore for the British and Americans. Since Sweden is neutral, and Holden has extensive business connections in Nazi Germany, he is ideally superb to fade about Germany and locate targets for allied bombers.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Counterfeit Traitor! Click Here

The development of Holden’s character is obedient, and the viewer truly gets a sense of what it might have been like to be a secret agent of this sort during the war. Holden functions by blackmail and bribery, and the film does a attractive job of not glossing over these basic components of spycraft. The tale develops methodically. While initially Holden is a reluctant, even unwilling survey, eventually what he sees of German methods and brutality converts him into an keen allied agent. The same is fair of some of those whom Holden has bribed or blackmailed into cooperating with his activities.

The cinamatography of the film is edifying, with European locales giving an authentic air to the film. While I often despise it when there is a memoir that overlays a movie, in this film it is done very well, and adds a spacious deal to the sage. The storyline moves at a brisk but thoughtful plug, never drags, and this film tells a large epic.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Counterfeit Traitor! Click Here

This is one not to be missed by anyone who enjoys a apt study flick. Highly recommended.

Even though William Holden’s box office popularity had waned by this time in his career, his acting skills were never better than in his portrayal of an American-born Swedish citizen pressured into working for the Allies in WWII. A well-written script with appealing characters brought to life by a sterling international cast (Hugh Griffith, Wolfgang Preiss, Klaus Kinski, Ulf Palme to name unbiased a few) . Besides Holden, Lili Palmer is a stand out as one of his German contacts, a conflicted Catholic who understands the greater beneficial of what she has been doing but, as the bombs launch falling, is tormented by the knowledge that the information she passes on can, and does, bring death and destruction to noncombatants, especially children. Lots of sharp faces and touches: a Hamburg dominatrix (complete with whip), the tall face of the former stationmaster, the confounding of the tracking dogs with a blood and cocaine mix, the Danish citizenry openly defying the Nazis, the son-from-hell, and did anyone else spy the menorah in Gestapo Colonel Nordoff’s (Preiss, shapely here, once again) office? My only complaint is the quality of the VHS. This film recently aired on AMC and it was considerably crisper than my VHS. A DVD from the cleaned-up print would be most welcome. Regardless of the format, this is a movie not to be missed.
Buy Electric Cigarette
Electronic Cigarettes Starter Kit
Electric Cigarette Review
Best Electronic Cigarettes

Why was Playtime a failure, sending Jacques Tati into bankruptcy and costing him control over his life’s work of films? His previous film, My Uncle, had been a commercial and artistic success. M. Hulot’s Holiday and Jour de Fete had gained Tati world-wide recognition and respect. He had become recognized as one of the few authentic geniuses of film.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Playtime - Criterion Collection! Click Here

Watch Playtime and I consider you’ll catch the respond. Tati in his earlier films placed Hulot in situations where we could empathize with him. Hulot was an innocent. As we came to like him, we also came to like the people he encountered. Even with their pretensions and idiosyncrasies, we could witness something of ourselves in them. Tati might be holding up a mirror for us to glimpse in, but M. Hulot was such a gentle companion that we smiled as we recognized ourselves.

With Playtime, there is dinky Hulot. Instead, we have Tati’s notion on all sorts of social and cultural issues, from the sterility he saw in great of recent life to current architecture, group behavior, impersonal offices, loneliness, boorishness and American tourists. We’re observers, and our job is to piece Tati’s viewpoint. Hulot, now middle-aged, has become a minor player in the film. In his earlier movies, Tati was careful to give us dinky numbers of people with whom, along with Hulot, we could arrive to know. In My Uncle, for instance, it was essentially one family and one recent home, along with Hulot’s gain apartment and his neighbors. In M. Hulot’s Holiday, it was a shrimp seaside hotel and its guests. With Playtime, we have a gargantuan, impersonal office building, all glass and fair angles, filled with people — employees, visitors, exposition guests, customers. Then we have an apartment building with expansive curtain-less windows allowing the pedestrians to ogle just in, and we’re among the pedestrians. Then we have a nightclub filled with customers, waiters and managers. There is puny opportunity to obtain to know any of these people, remarkable less make affection for them.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Playtime - Criterion Collection! Click Here

However, as with all his movies, Tati fills Playtime with streams of intricate and carefully developed laughable situations (although comical is too huge a term), often that design from microscopic happenings we’ve barely noticed. There is only sporadic and incidental dialogue, but sound effects are indispensable to the movie, as subtle and comical as what we scrutinize.

As sterile and unattractive as Tati makes the airport, the office building, a convenience store and the apartment, there are such outlandish and subtle sights as the bobbing wimple wings on two nuns, a floor sweeper staring at a booted officer, Hulot suddenly sliding down a floor, glass windows and doors impossible to screech if they’re there or not, a table lamp that dispenses cigarettes, strange-looking and wobbling food at a self-service counter…and the list simply goes on. And it’s not objective one thing at a time. Tati can hold a veil with all sorts of silly occurrences, some happening in the foreground, some in attend, some at the sides.

The last hour of the movie takes area in a unusual nightclub, the Royal Garden, which has unbiased opened and is barely ready for its customers. A dance floor tile sticks to a maitre d’s shoe, a fish is ostentatiously finished table-side by a waiter…then finished again and again by mistake while the two customers ooh and ah. A bow tie falls in the sauce. A bus-load of tourists suddenly appear. When Hulot manages to accidently rupture one of the glass doors to the restaurant, it is a culmination to all those glass walls we’ve been looking through and walking into. The follow-up gag with the round door opener is almost worth the tag of the DVD. As the original restaurant gradually disintegrates around us, Tati finally begins to ease up on personal viewpoints and let’s us simply devour the ogle of people becoming more like people. And that, I suspect, is the point Tati wanted to form. In an uncommon sort of design, the last ten minutes evoke the humor and warmth of previous Tati movies…a packed traffic circle with all the cars tantalizing slowly together; a father taking a toy horn from his cramped boy and blowing it, too; the bittersweet last study at Hulot walking past a bus where a young woman he met at the nightclub is being taken to the airport with her tourist group.

If you like Tati’s viewpoint on the impersonalization of new society, you’ll probably like Playtime. Some critics call it his masterpiece. If you like Tati, I believe Playtime is necessary, if only to understand what happened to him. The movie is an idiosyncratic and dauntless failure, in my conception, and worthy too long. Detached, I’d rather stare Playtime than most of what passes as genius in films today.

The modern Criterion release looks very suitable. This edition has several extra features including supplements about Tati and an audio interview with him. The case also contains an insert with an essay by Jonathan Rosenbaum, identified as a film critic.

This is a singular masterpiece in film making but totally unlike anything, even for it’s day. By today’s attention deficit disorder standards, this film is really really irregular. But no doubt it is a masterpiece if the viewer is willing to place the distress in to accept all the nuances because this is a film of nothing but nuances. Tati himself is fair one of many participants.

There is a residence of sorts dealing with a group of female American tourists and the one women who is the strange duck among them. She meets Tati and they consume the night together dancing at a night club and witness in the dawn at a coffee shop. Various bits of business are constantly swirling around them and you could conception this describe 10 times before seeing everything. There are many jokes but they are gentle visual puns. Don’t ask belly laughs, unbiased a wry but astounding understanding on unusual life.

As is standard practice for Criterian these days the extras on disc two are spectacular. The documentaries on Tati’s life and this film are quick-witted and helped me understand his art and this film great better.

A gentle film with gleaming exhaust of wide cover (this film would do no sense pan and scan) you need to plunge into the portray to relish it. But there is an endless wealth of material to like.
Electric Cigarette
Increasing Credit Score
Raise Credit Score
Free Virtual Phone Number

Lots of people, including the dilapidated Ebert and Roeper, bash this movie for having no position, abominable acting, and unbearable cheesiness. I cannot defend this movie against people who made those claims. I can only say that I, as an audience, was truly entertained by this charming and witty minute film. What can I say? The movie worked for me, and I was guiltily won by its unusual charms.

Ebert’s main criticism was that had this movie been about a heterosexual relationship, the status would have been so absurdly mundane as to be unfilmable. “The only thing going for this film is the lesbian relationship”. I agree. However, he misses the point that we are precisely here to examine a lesbian relationship, not to examine some helpful witness action thriller. We are not even here for the comedy, primarily. We are here to gawk a film in which a lesbian relationship is portrayed in a certain, light-hearted diagram that ends with a pleased ending which, if you are a connoisseur of lesbian films, you will know is surprisingly rare.

Lesbians, and friends of lesbians (like me) are starving for well-behaved obvious portrayals of women loving women; not as a guilty side tale, not for shock-purposes, but as the main centrepiece of movie. D.E.B.S. succeeds because it portrays the central relationship in a refreshing, matter-of-fact plot, while at the same time acknowledging that this is not the norm in our society. This is a very pretty balance that the film succeeds in perfectly. D.E.B.S. also succeeds because of its witty lines, sweet easy charm, and the fact that it’s a good-natured film. To anthropomorphise the movie, D.E.B.S. is like a kind-hearted, adorable girl whom you can’t wait on but like. Its heart is certainly in the good space. I’m so please, by the method, that this film received a PG-13 movie. Finally our country is realising that homosexuality by itself does not award an R-rating.

I belief the acting was in general very well done. Jordana Brewster in particular is irresistible and honest believable enough to play the luscious lesbian “supervillain” Lucy Diamond, whose combination of hotness and insecurity are enough to cause formerly-straight government spies to quiz their orientation. Does she really search for tough and/or mean enough to be the head of an international criminal syndicate? No, not really, but it works in this movie’s shrimp off-kilter, over-the-top world. The care for anecdote between Brewster’s character Lucy and the other main character, Amy, is adorable, sweet, comic, and ultimately heart-warming. You really do gain that they work as a couple, and want them to drive off into the sunset living to live happily ever after in Barcelona.

One snappy word about the absolutely exquisite Devon Aoki (Dominique), who plays the chain-smoking, hapa D.E.B.S. agent who’s a sex addict and speaks with a French accent. Obviously her character was designed (and in the movie chosen) for the dependable purpose of enticing and seducing men sexually, almost in a comically stereotypic diagram. (French accents typically being very consuming to American men) . The gargantuan irony perhaps then is how well it worked on me. Aoki smoulders on the camouflage in her few scenes with a kind of almost intolerable sexiness that destroys both reason and resistance with seemingly dinky conscious anguish.

There are many different ways to savor D.E.B.S. However, it certainly does targets a determined type of audience, and perhaps it takes one with a obvious mindset to be able to indulge in the movie. But if you’re one of them, prepare for a rare treat.

First, as a straight male, I agree that this was a expansive characterization of a lesbian relationship. I found myself forgetting that it was two women, and merely hoping that they could beget it work. Also as a straight male, the substantial looks of all the actresses didn’t pain, but that soon became background, sort of like after a while at a nude beach, it all seems normal. Or not.

Speaking of backgrounds, one of the reasons I enjoyed this movie so great was the certain joy with which the cast performed in, and the crew participated in, the making of this movie. I’m going to point out some VERY comical jokes that were in the background that no one has mentioned, but not all of them - go sight it again, and get some on your have.

1. The “punk bar” itself. Those punks were obviously cast and crew members moms, dads, grandma, etc., who they called up and said “Hey! Wanna be in our movie? ” Either that or, they were the oldest group of punks I’ve ever seen.

2. The “punks” were drinking out of glasses with “bendy straws”, highly un-punklike behavior.

3. In this risky, underground punk bar, there was an undamaged foosball table. Doesn’t this strike you as comical?

4. The pink fire hydrant.

5. Lucy’s license plate - “NDASKY” - from the Beatles song “Lucy in the sky with Diamonds”.

6. Perhaps the funniest, to me, joke was when Lucy and Amy sat down at the booth. Lucy station two beers down, one in front of each. The beers were Dos Equis, the logo of which is XX. What is the chromosomal incompatibility between men and women? Men are XY, women are XX. This was a deliberatly placed joke. Two beers, deliberatly faced forward, one in front of each “girl”, marked with the genetic symbol for “girl”, in a “girl/girl” romantic scene. It was a deliberately concoted case of comic overkill. That joke was one that someone view up, everyone agreed that probably no one would collect it, but said “What the heck WE’LL know it’s there, and it’s comical!”.

7. The fact that she had a “beef” with Australia, of all countries, and that the substantial globe in her apartment had a mountainous red “X” through the continent.

8. There’s the “handle with care” signs in the final scene, but that’s all I’m giving you, go peer.

The point of this review is that some of these movies are a happy labor for those alive to. They know they’re not going to fetch an Oscar, but they like the script, they like each other, and they go the extra “Green Mile” to achieve everything they’ve got, and everything they can reflect of into it. I often savor these small-budget movies more than their big-budget relatives, because they ARE labors of admire, and that comes through the cover, as does the cast and crews affection for each other.

Too many were locked into watching aesthetic girls in short skirts to see beyond them to the Valid humour and art contained in this movie. It’s there, and it’s worth the wretchedness. Give it a shot.

Love is adore, and laughable is comical. I’m impartial sayin’
Small Business Phone System
Electric Cigarette
Lumosity
Virtual Phone Numbers
Wholesale Designer Handbag

I bought this DVD the day it came out and loved it instantly. But I didn’t really have anything to say about it until watching the ending of another great anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both the TV and movie versions of that series angered me to no end, but they made me realize how great “Endless Waltz” is.

The ending of the “Gundam Wing” television series wasn’t really that at all. Sure, the ‘bad guys’ were defeated, but anyone who thinks that’s all that matters isn’t a fan of good storytelling. “Endless Waltz” answers pretty much every question you might have about the fates of the characters, and I don’t mean just the Gundam pilots, either. Every important character of the series is brought into play, and even some not-so important ones. As icing on the cake, this DVD also answers many(though not all) questions about the characters from before the start of the series.

The animation, characterization, and excellent soundtrack (”White Reflexion!”) all make up for the fact that the plot is slightly silly and a little cliched. More of a bad guys versus good guys thing as opposed to the complexity of the series. But hey, it’s a movie, how deep do you want them to get, here?

Two more reccomendations. Watch the movie version, as opposed to the OVA version. You’ll be glad you did. It contains extended and all-new footage that really makes the story flow better, plus there’s some great music in certain scenes that were silent in the OVA vesion. Secondly, and this is something I never ever say about anime, watch it dubbed. No, I’m not insane. It’s actually better, I swear to God. I’ve seen it in both languages, and simple lines (such as many of Heero’s) just sounded better delivered in English.

…but what an ending! Told mostly through flashbacks, the story of Endless Waltz is rock-solid. If you’re a fan of the series, this explains the characters backgrounds and how they came to be, which is quite interesting (Trowa’s origin, for example, was not only interesting, it’s shocking). If you’re new to Gundam Wing, well… it wouldn’t be the best place to start… and at the same time, it would be if you don’t want to sit through all those episodes (which is why I liked the flashbacks: I can show it to my friends and they wouldn’t be left out in the cold as to what’s going on in the film). Whenever you try to get someone’s interest in a series, it’s not always easy: nobody really has time to sit through a whole set of tapes/DVDs, and that’s if you even have them; and when you try to show them a movie inspired from the series, they know nothing of the characters, and it seems that most movies expect that you already do (take, for example, Tenchi Forever: you can’t show that to a first-time Tenchi viewer, as it wouldn’t quite register [i.e., no explanation as to how the characters came about]). But, like I said, Endless Waltz gives you a whole background of the characters through the flashbacks, yet, doesn’t take away from those that have followed the series–no easy feet. So what’s the story here? Taking off a year after the Gundam Wing series ended, Mariemeia–the illegitimate daughter of deceased war leader, OZ chief Treize Krushrenada–has made plans to become the ruler of the new nation–thus taking over Earth and the Space Colonies. Obviously, this isn’t good; it’s, as the movie said, “An endless waltz of peace, war, and revolution.” And obviously, our heroes aren’t taking this lightly, either. Past villians are now good guys, the characters are more emotional than ever, and the battle scenes are the best in the entire Gundam Wing series–in fact, I honestly felt this was the peak of everything to the series: the characters have more depth, the story is at its finest, and the battle scenes are beyond amazing. If you’ve seen any of the episodes, you already know about dubbing: it’s perfect. Very few anime titles I’ll say I actually loved the dubbing, but the whole Gundam Wing series is just great. The animation is a bit dated (it was made quite awhile back), but the detail is still sharp. I’ll be honest… the first time I seen Gundam Wing, I didn’t care for it–I’m a Macross/Robotech fan, and I’ll always fell that Macross/Robotech is king when it comes to mecha in anime… but I started liking it after awhile, and I truly feel that this movie represents all of Gundam Wing at its finest. Endless Waltz is a great, action-packed, anime movie that, hopefully, will get the success it truly deserves–definitely do not pass this up when its release day comes.
Smokeless Cigarettes
Lumosity
Electronic Cigarette
Electric Cigarette
Increasing Credit Score

My Dinner With Andre is a bright, difficult movie.

A lot of people are turned off by this film because it’s mainly one extended scene of two unglamorous people talking about existence. But what a conversation, and what a scene! Andre Gregory’s bizarre, surreal sage and his catharsis about the nature of recent life that comes from it is distinguished stuff, but the precise punch comes from Wallace Shawn, our Everyman, and his reaction to it. It’s a shame that so many can’t witness more than 10 minutes of this movie, because it is ultimately Shawn, at the raze, who speaks their thoughts.

MDWA demands your attention for two hours, which is no easy task, because there is no right legend in the weak sense. It also demands multiple viewings, because it is rich with subtle detail, and there’s a lot to recall in. See, for instance, the continual references to the Holocaust, culminating in Gregory’s chronicle of his friend’s theory about the city-as-modern-concentration-camp. And as you study these two actors play, ostensibly, themselves, you wonder how considerable of the film is just and how remarkable is a carefully constructed memoir. It’s a mountainous mystery, one that I remove unsolved.

Kudos also go to the director, the broad Louis Malle, whose control is so staunch that you almost forget you’re watching a movie as opposed to two people fair talking. It’s a reminder of how the broad directors are the ones who can do so noteworthy with so minute. You’ll never study at a blockbuster the same plan again.

The reason I can’t give this film 5 stars is that the video transfer is Wrong. The color is often off, and the sound is mediocre at best. Hopefully someone will achieve and restore this gem of a film.

Do yourself a favor and Survey THIS MOVIE. You’ll probably complain about doing it, but you’ll feel immensely pleased afterward.

This is my current movie of all time. Period. You can sit inon the most absorbing conversation ever and I’ve done it many times, every time finding myself thinking of different things, contemplating my occupy life and wondering about how crazy Andre actually is and how seriously to remove his ideas about how human life came to an waste a few decades ago, leaving us all robots in search of some twinge of genuine feeling. But the dvd is so poor I suspected it was a bootleg. When the camera switches from Andre to Wally the color completely changes. It’s all grainy as if recorded on abominable tape off a badly receiving tv. At one point a cramped white hair appears and vacillates on the lower cover for oh about 30 minutes. Are they kidding? There needs to be a unusual edition of this mountainous movie, and those of us who bought this sham of a version should be allowed to trade it in. Here is a film critiquing the falseness of what our fresh life has become: exquisite, but I don’t need an object lesson costing me $20. Out of respect for the sublime Louis Malle, place out a fresh version!
Wholesale Authentic Designer Handbags
Electric Cigarette
Working Hostgator Coupon
Small Business Phone System
Wedding Album Design
